Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

We wrote this privacy policy in plain English because we believe you should actually understand what happens to your data. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@broadwave.digitals and we'll explain it.

What we collect

We collect only the information we actually need to do our job. Specifically:

Contact form submissions: your name, email address, company name (if provided), the service you're interested in, your budget range (if provided), and whatever you write in the message field. We use this to respond to your inquiry and to assess whether we're a good fit for your project.

Email correspondence: if you email us directly, we keep the content of those emails for as long as we have a working relationship with you, plus a reasonable period afterward in case of follow-up questions or disputes.

Analytics data: we use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are visited, how visitors find us, and which content performs well. This is aggregate data, we don't track individual users across the web, and we don't build profiles on visitors.

Cookies: we use a minimal set of cookies. Essential cookies (needed for the site to function) are set automatically. Analytics cookies are optional and only set if you accept them. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to:

Respond to inquiries you send us through the contact form, email, or phone.

Send you the free growth audit or other materials you explicitly request.

Send occasional emails about our work, but only if you opt in. We don't add you to a marketing list just because you filled out a contact form.

Improve our website and services based on aggregate analytics data (never tied to you personally).

Comply with legal obligations if required.

We do NOT use your information to: sell to third parties, build advertising profiles, train AI models on your data, or do anything sneaky.

Who sees it

Access to your personal information is restricted to:

The founder (that's me) and the specific team member assigned to your inquiry or project.

Our email service provider (used to send emails on our behalf, they have their own privacy policy and we only share what's needed to deliver email).

Our analytics provider (only sees aggregate, anonymized data, never your name or email).

Legal authorities, if compelled by a valid court order or subpoena. We'll push back on fishing expeditions and notify you if legally permitted.

We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with anyone else. Ever.

How long we keep it

If you submit a contact form and we don't end up working together, we keep your submission for 12 months in case you reach out again, then it's permanently deleted.

If we do work together, we keep your information for the duration of our engagement plus 3 years afterward (for tax, legal, and reference purposes). After that, it's deleted unless you ask us to keep it on file.

If you ask us to delete your information earlier, we will, within 30 days. Just email hello@broadwave.digitals with the request.

Your rights

You have the right to:

Know what personal information we have about you. Email us and we'll tell you within 30 days.

Correct any information we hold that's inaccurate.

Delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).

Opt out of any communications we send you. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.

Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we've mishandled your data. (We hope you'll talk to us first, but you don't have to.)

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

Access to personal information is restricted to named team members using password-protected, 2FA-enabled accounts.

We don't store credit card information, payments are processed by Stripe, who handle PCI compliance.

We conduct regular access reviews and revoke access immediately when team members leave.

No system is 100% secure. If we ever suffer a data breach that affects your personal information, we'll notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, even if not legally required.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the 'last updated' date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are material.

If you've given us your email, we'll email you about material changes. Otherwise, your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
